absMessage is an enterprise monitoring solution for IBM i environments that centralizes and automates resource and message monitoring.
Our solution can be accessed via standard user interfaces, including Web UI, Java GUI, and 5250, all available in one comprehensive solution. absMessage also directly integrates with the ServiceNow enterprise ticketing system and SIEM systems.
Modernizes monitoring of system messages and resource conditions
Provides full automation to elevate timely reaction & helps reduce cost by cutting downtime
Integrations allow for immense scalability
Reduces Admin’s time which can be reclaimed for other critical processes
Promotes efficiency and reduces outage impacts on production
absMessage monitors, reacts to and generates alerts from multiple resources, including QSYSOPR, IBM's History Log, and application message queues. absMessage centralizes critical message collection and alerts you when it detects unusual situations on local and networked machines, using a Web UI, 5250 screen, or a Java GUI.
Service points subset your IBM i systems by specific attributes. Sort, view, and react to monitored messages & resources belonging to a specific client, organization, division, or other server grouping.
absMessage notifies response teams when a message is generated on the system. You can set up escalation intervals and have multiple people notified when an alert has gone unanswered. absMessage scripts automate complex responses to messages, including automatic replies and command & application execution. Filter processing can execute different scripts for the same message, when different circumstances occur.
absMessage’s Web UI empowers personnel to view messages on multiple systems from any internet web browser. Manage your system messages in a local view for a single system or in a network view for multiple servers. You can also view archived messages separately from live messages.
IBM i-specific tickets can be generated directly into ServiceNow, using absMessage commands, APIs, and escalation. absMessage directly interfaces with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, and AlienVault, directly sending IBM I information to a SIEM system. SNMP traps can also be sent to SNMP-enabled products.
Our unique dashboard function allows you to view real-time CPU and ASP/iASP status for all monitored IBM i servers. When a problem occurs, the dashboard helps you drill down into your data to determine what was happening on your system at that time, identifying historical and current situations affecting system behavior.
